Simon Liu is an Australian-qualified lawyer with expertise in public and private international law, and privacy law and artificial intelligence. He runs his own consultancy practice, where he provides strategic and policy advice to UN agencies, NGOs, governments, and the private sector. He brings a diplomatic perspective from representing Australia at the United Nations on nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, complemented by his humanitarian experience working in conflict zones including Syria and Ukraine.

Simon is also the founder of Building Memorii, a project that was dedicated to supporting the welfare of children during conflict and humanitarian crises. He raised funds to provide resources for schools and educational programs across Ukraine.

Simon holds law degrees from the University of Sydney and the University of Oslo.
